Hope despite Doubt and Fear

Like everyone at one point or another, I've had feelings of self-doubt. I just wanted to share some verses and a song that came to my mind as I'm in this season of life with a lot of responsibilities and decisions.  (From what I hear, it doesn't get much easier from here).

Habakkuk 1:5
Look at the nations and watch--
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your
days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.
At times I think, "God, just TELL ME what you're going to do with me." Just like Habakkuk, it's hard to see what God's going to do in hard times; but He's going to do something amazing on a much larger scale than any of us can imagine. (Check out 3:17-19).

 Zephaniah 3:7
The Lord your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with
singing.
He rejoices over me. He's happy to be with me.
[just a side note: these two verses take on sooo much more meaning if you know the context. Read the books for yourself. They're short.]

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.
Never forget that fear is just a load of crap from ourselves. Power, love, and self-control...they're completely from God.
